Koke Veljasevic
Koke Veljasevic, Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Koke Veljasevic serves as vice president and chief information
officer (CIO) for Citation Corporation. He is also a member of the
Executive Leadership Team. In his current role, Veljasevic provides
strategic information technology (IT) support to Citation’s
management team to enable informed business decisions and ensure the
company achieves its operations targets.
Prior to being named CIO in 2004, he was IT director of the
company’s Birmingham, Ala., facility, where he aligned Citation’s IT
initiatives with its business strategy, built an enterprise
information technology infrastructure and created an Intranet.
Previously, Veljasevic was IT manager at the same facility for
approximately four years. In this position, he centralized
Citation’s IT functions, standardized one enterprise resource
planning system across the company’s divisions, created Citation’s
first Web site and implemented a corporate-wide email system.
He joined Citation in 1994 as a network administrator based in
Lufkin, Texas.
Veljasevic has more than 14 years experience in the foundry
industry.
Veljasevic studied international relations at Bradley University in
Peoria, Ill. He is married with one child.
