Headquartered in Novi, Michigan, Citation is a leading designer, developer
and manufacturer of high-quality cast, machined and assembled chassis and
powertrain components for the automotive, heavy truck and industrial
markets. Our product portfolio includes control arms, caliper housings,
brake adapters and manifolds to yokes, sway bar attachments, concrete
anchors and grates, and construction brackets.
Citation offers its leading global OEM and supplier customers unparalleled
versatility and flexibility of component materials by providing the ability
to cost effectively design components in aluminum, ductile or gray iron to
fit their unique needs.
Since its inception in 1974, Citation has been providing total customer
satisfaction. Over the years, and through targeted investments and vision,
Citation has turned a single iron foundry in Bessemer, Alabama, into a
world-class metal components operation with facilities across the United
States.
Our team consists of approximately 2,700 associates spanning six states who
are customer-oriented and provide superior quality, delivery and service of
innovative metal components across the industries we serve. We strongly
adhere to a set of guiding principles that help us make business decisions
in the best interest of all our constituencies – customers, owners,
employees, suppliers and communities.
Citation has overcome some financial challenges recently, which have allowed
us to emerge as a stronger industry competitor and more financially stable.
We have implemented key strategic initiatives to improve business processes
and performance, resulting in record new business wins.
