Louis Lavorata, Senior Vice President and CFO
Louis Lavorata is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Grede. In this role, he supports Grede’s executive leadership team in the development and implementation of Grede’s strategies and business plan. He is also responsible for managing the Finance, Accounting, Tax and Treasury functions and the development of financial strategies and policies, as well as financial reporting requirements to the board of directors.
Prior to joining Grede, Louis was CFO of LD Holdings, Inc., a privately held distributor of commercial and industrial petroleum products, where he had operational and integration responsibilities.
Earlier, he held dual responsibilities as COO/CFO of Metal Spinners, Inc. (MSI), president/CFO of Fendrich Industries, Inc., and CFO/COO of General Aluminum Manufacturing for nine years – a division of publicly held Park-Ohio Holdings.
Previously, Louis worked at Ernst & Young – Entrepreneurial Services Group as an auditor and small business consultant for two years. He began his career as a Productivity Improvement Manager at General Motors Corp.’s Lordstown, Ohio, facility.
Louis earned a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W. Va., and a Master of Business Administration from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
He is a Certified Public Accountant.
