CITATION ANNOUNCES NEW G.M. FOR RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - Today Citation Corporation announced the hiring
of Jim Mikesell as General Manager of their aerospace-casting facility
in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Concurrently, prior General Manager Dick
Farina announced his retirement. For an indefinite period, however, Mr.
Farina will continue with the company as Sales Manager to ensure Citation's
customers a smooth transition.
Mr. Farina joined the facility, then known as AmCast Precision, in
1993. In 1999, a year after Citation purchased it, he was promoted from
Director of Sales and Marketing to General Manager and has led the division
since.
Before joining Citation, Mr. Mikesell was with C.I.I. Technologies,
where he was Vice President of the High Performance Group. C.I.I. is
a manufacturer of high-performance and signal relays for the aerospace,
defense and medical markets. He has served aerospace customers for the
last fifteen years. At other stops along his thirty-five year career,
Mr. Mikesell has been with Emerson Electric, Dana Corporation, Colt
Industries and Cummins Engine. He earned his B.S. in Business from Indiana
University.
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Citation Corporation is a metal components
supplier to capital and durable goods industries. The company currently
operates seventeen manufacturing divisions in nine states with approximately
5,600 employees.
