Charles Pestow to join Citation as VP Sales & Marketing

Birmingham, AL, March 11, 2004 - Citation Corporation ("Citation") announced today that it has hired Charles A. "Chuck" Pestow as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Pestow, a Purdue University graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering is an experienced executive in the automotive industry and brings Citation a wealth of experience in both the domestic and international arenas

Pestow began his career with TRW, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio. In his twenty-seven years with that organization he held a variety of positions in Engineering, Operations and Sales and Marketing. In 1997 he joined Simpson Industries, later Metaldyne-Simpson Industries in Plymouth, Michigan, and most recently served as President of their Asia-Pacific Division.

Mr. Pestow and his wife live in Rochester Hills, Michigan where he participates in both civic and professional associations. He will be headquartered in Citation's Novi, Michigan offices.
