Michael OBrien joins Citation as Director of Automotive Sales & Marketing

Birmingham, AL, June 15, 2004 - Citation Corporation (Citation) announced today that it has hired Michael J. (Mike) OBrien as Director of Automotive Sales and Marketing. OBrien, a graduate of Davenport University in Dearborn, Michigan with a degree in Management, is an experienced executive in the automotive industry and brings Citation a wealth of experience in both the domestic and international arenas.

OBrien, a U. S. Marine Corps veteran has worked in a number of sales and marketing positions primarily in the automotive sector. His most recent position has been with Metaldyne as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for their Driveline Group.

Mr. OBrien and his family live in Birmingham, Michigan where he participates in both civic and professional associations. He will be headquartered in Citations Novi, Michigan offices.
