Citation Corporation Wins $100 Million Contract to Supply Chassis Components to Metaldyne
Novi, Mich., Dec. 3, 2007 - Citation Corporation today announced it has been awarded a $100 million contract to supply Metaldyne with chassis components for a variety of truck and sport-utility-vehicle platforms used by several global automakers.
Production of the control arms and knuckle assemblies, which help create a smooth ride for vehicles, began in the fourth quarter 2007 at Citations Lufkin, Texas, facility and are being shipped to Metaldynes New Castle, Indiana, and Greensboro, N.C., plants.
Citations Lufkin, Texas, location has been manufacturing quality castings since 1939. Strategically located, this expansive facility has the competency and capability to produce complex components for a variety of markets. Continued resource and process improvements are being implemented to smoothly adapt and accommodate this significant business opportunity.

Metaldynes relationship with Citation has expanded over the past several years to become one of Citations largest accounts. Citation also supplies Metaldyne with a variety of engine, powertrain and other chassis components.
