Citation Corporation Wins Prestigious Navistar, Inc., Diamond Supplier Award
Novi, Mich., May 16, 2009 - Citation Corp. today announced it received the 2008 Navistar, Inc., Diamond Supplier Award, given to suppliers who exceed Navistar’s performance expectations for quality, delivery and cost.
Recipients are also acknowledged for being strategically aligned with Navistar’s business goals and for demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
“We’re honored to receive this recognition from Navistar, as it validates the hard work of our employees and their commitment to superior performance at all levels,” said Doug Grimm, Citation’s chief executive officer.
Five of Citation’s facilities supply Navistar with chassis and powertrain components and systems for the company’s medium and heavy truck applications. The Citation facilities providing parts include, Bessemer and Columbiana, Ala., Biscoe N.C., and Berlin and Menomonee Falls, Wisc.
