Citation Corporation Appoints Anthony Lovell as Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Novi, Mich., September 8, 2009 - Citation Corp. today announced that Anthony “Tony” Lovell has rejoined the company effective immediately as vice president, Sales & Marketing. Lovell will be responsible for developing and leading the commercial strategy and customer interface initiatives for Citation.
Most recently, Lovell was vice president of sales for Intermet Corporation. He previously worked for Citation from 1995 – 2004 in various sales management positions, including leading its successful industrial business development strategy that remains a cornerstone for the company.
“We’re excited to have a person with Tony’s vast experience rejoin Citation and spearhead our growth initiatives across the industrial and transportation markets,” said Doug Grimm, president & CEO, Citation Corp.
He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Iowa and his master’s degree in business administration from the Michigan State University Executive Management Program.
Lovell replaces Michael O’Brien, who has left the company to pursue other interests.
He currently resides in South Lyon, Mich.
